1. Using the site
TakeHome is free to use. You may use the calculators for personal or business purposes, and you may link to any page. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
2. The calculators are estimates
Every figure produced by this site is an estimate based on published rates and the information you enter. It is not a payslip, not a tax calculation from HMRC, and not personal advice. Your actual pay depends on your tax code, your payroll provider’s method, the timing of payments in the year, and circumstances we cannot see. 3. No advice
Nothing on this site is tax, legal, financial or investment advice, and no relationship of adviser and client is created by using it. Before acting on any figure, check with HMRC or a qualified professional.
4. Accuracy and availability
We take accuracy seriously and correct errors as soon as we learn of them, but we cannot promise the site is free of mistakes or always available. Rates change, and there can be a gap between a change being announced and this site reflecting it.
5. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of this site or reliance on its figures, including financial loss, lost profit or lost opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
6. Content and copyright
The text, design, calculators and code on this site belong to us. You may quote short extracts with a link back. You may not copy the calculators or republish the pages in bulk, whether by hand or by automated means.
7. External links
We link to gov.uk and other sites where it helps. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
